We have some exciting news to share. West Computers has been named to the MSSP Alert Top 250 Managed Security Services Providers list for 2024 — and we couldn't be more proud of what that recognition means for the businesses we serve across Laurel, Mississippi and the Pine Belt region.
What Is the MSSP Alert Top 250 List?
MSSP Alert, published by CyberRisk Alliance, is one of the most authoritative voices in the managed security services industry. Each year, their editorial team and researchers conduct a comprehensive worldwide survey and review of MSSPs to identify the providers raising the bar for enterprise-grade cybersecurity delivery.
The Top 250 list evaluates managed security service providers based on performance, client impact, breadth of services, operational depth, and overall contribution to the cybersecurity landscape. Being included places West Computers among the most recognized MSSPs operating globally — a field that spans thousands of providers across every major market.
What This Means for Our Clients
We started West Computers with a simple belief: that small and mid-sized businesses in the Pine Belt region deserve the same caliber of cybersecurity protection as enterprises in major metro markets. For too long, businesses in Laurel, Hattiesburg, Meridian, and Waynesboro were either underserved or priced out of meaningful security coverage.
This recognition validates that what we're delivering works — and that it measures up on a global stage. When you work with West Computers, you're not getting a local IT shop that dabbles in security. You're getting a provider that has been independently recognized alongside the leading MSSPs in the world.
How We Got Here
This recognition reflects the work of our entire team and the trust our clients place in us every day. Over the past several years, we've built out a full managed security stack that gives our clients 24/7 protection, real-time threat detection and response, layered endpoint and identity security, and compliance readiness — all delivered and managed locally.
We've invested heavily in the tools, processes, and expertise required to operate like an enterprise security operation — because the threats our clients face don't care about the size of their business or the size of their city.
A Note of Thanks
To our clients across the Pine Belt: thank you. This recognition is a direct result of the trust you place in us and the opportunity to protect what you've built. We don't take that lightly.
To our team: every alert reviewed, every ticket worked, every client call answered after hours — it shows up here. Thank you.
We're proud of this recognition, and we're just getting started.
