Terms of Service

Last updated: October 25, 2026

These terms cover your use of the West Computers website at westcomputers.com. They are an agreement between you and West Computers ("we," "us," or "our"), a managed IT and cybersecurity provider at 1654 Highway 184 E, Laurel, MS 39443. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Paid services are covered by the agreement you sign with us, not by this page alone. See the next section.

1. Use of this website

The site describes our managed IT, cybersecurity, and related services and gives you a way to contact us. You may use it for lawful personal or business purposes. You agree not to interfere with the site, probe or overload it, attempt to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to use, or use any form or contact method to send spam or unlawful content.

Information on the site is general. It is not a quote, a security assessment, or legal or compliance advice for your business. Looking at the site, or sending us a message, does not make you a client. An engagement starts when both sides sign the service agreement that applies.

2. Services and your signed agreement

Managed IT, cybersecurity, consulting, and other services are provided under the service agreement the client signs. That agreement may include a master service agreement (MSA), one or more statements of work (SOW), and related orders. It sets the scope, fees, service levels, and each side's responsibilities.

These website terms do not change a signed agreement. If these terms conflict with a signed MSA, SOW, or other service agreement, the signed agreement controls.

3. No warranty for the website

The website is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that information on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent Mississippi law allows, we disclaim implied warranties for the website, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Any warranty about a paid service is only what the signed service agreement says. This section is about the website.

4. Limitation of liability for the website

To the fullest extent Mississippi law allows, West Computers and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the website. That includes indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and lost profits, data, or goodwill, whether we knew they were possible or not.

This limit applies to the website. Liability for paid services is governed by the signed service agreement, not by this section. Some limits may not apply if the law does not allow them.

5. Intellectual property

The site design, text, graphics, logos, and other content on westcomputers.com are owned by West Computers or its licensors. You may view the site and print pages for your own internal use. You may not copy, republish, or use our name, logo, or other branding for commercial purposes without our written permission.

If you send us comments about the site, we may use them without obligation to you. Materials and data that you or your organization own stay yours. Nothing on this page transfers ownership of client data or client systems.

6. Third-party links

The site may link to other companies' websites, tools, or resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. Use of a third-party site is between you and that site.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information through the website and our services. The text-messaging section of that policy describes mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent. Please read it with these terms.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program name: West Computers Client Notifications.

This program sends service messages to clients and other people who opt in. Messages may be sent as RCS with SMS fallback. Service messages are:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Support ticket status updates
  • Technician arrival alerts ("technician on the way")

Some reminders include a reply choice, such as Confirm or Reschedule. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Service messages will not contain sensitive health information or other sensitive personal information. A service message includes only a ticket number, an appointment window, and the technician's first name.

You can opt in by completing the consent form on our SMS opt-in page, or by giving us permission another way, such as asking us to text you. Consent to receive these service notifications is not a condition of purchase.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@westcomputers.com. You can also call (601) 425-0300.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

These messages are used for service purposes. West Computers will only send marketing or promotional calls or texts that use an AI or other artificial voice, or an automated system, to people who have given separate prior express written consent for marketing. That marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing any service. It is separate from consent to receive service notifications. You can revoke it at any time. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. To opt out of calls, ask to be placed on our do-not-call list, or contact info@westcomputers.com.

How we handle mobile numbers and opt-in records is described in our Privacy Policy.

AI Voice Assistants and Phone Calls

West Computers uses AI-powered voice agents to answer and place some basic calls. Examples include after-hours support intake, creating support tickets, and appointment and ticket follow-ups. You may be speaking with an AI assistant rather than a person.

Calls handled by the AI may be recorded and transcribed. We may attach the transcript or a summary to the support ticket. We use that record to provide the service and to review quality.

You can ask the assistant to transfer you to a person, or to arrange a callback from a human technician. Do not share passwords, payment card numbers, or health information on these calls.

We use these calls for service purposes.

8. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Mississippi may hear disputes about these website terms, except where the law requires a different forum. Disputes about services under a signed agreement follow that agreement.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the website after we post a change, you accept the updated terms. A change to this page does not amend a signed MSA, SOW, or other service agreement.
